My name is John Nelson, and I’m a retirement planning educator. This website is about the Well-Being Model — a tool I developed for planning your ideal retirement. (Or whatever you call your next stage). Thousands of people are already using it to create more prosperity, health and happiness in their lives.

Is it possible that making a few changes today, could significantly improve your well-being in retirement? Could those changes even improve your life right now?

The answer is YES– if they’re the right changes.

I’ve spent years studying practical research in fields like economics, medicine, sociology and psychology. I traveled to sixteen states to learn from leading researchers and expert practitioners, across many fields and disciplines. It turns out there are significant breakthroughs in all these areas that you can use to improve your life, right now.

However, most of this knowledge is locked up in the “ivory tower” of academia, or only presented at professional conferences. It never makes it out into the world in a way that helps you plan for more prosperity, health and happiness.

What Color Is Your Parachute? FOR RETIREMENT

To learn more about retirement well-being, you can read my book with Richard Bolles — What Color Is Your Parachute? FOR RETIREMENT. The Wall Street Journal calls it “A step-by-step guide to planning your retirement life.”

Or to increase your well-being right away, enroll in my Retirement Workshop. It will guide you to:

  1. Discover what’s uniquely important to you now and for retirement
  2. Design a compelling vision for all areas of your life
  3. Check to see if you’re on track in each area
  4. Take actions that move you closer to what you want.

The workshop takes you from learning into action, so that you do it now.
